My Role: Senior Director of Experience Design

  • Built a new experience design team for a re-booted Star Wars mobile product. They was distributed between Vancouver, Austin and Redwood city

  • Established design frameworks, tools and processes across these mobile studios while educating and advocating for design

  • Managed and mentored a design team that included directors/managers and senior designers

  • Spearheaded experience design product strategy and resourcing for Lord of the Rings : Heroes of Middle Earth

Star Wars Rise to Power was a product that had been previously soft launched but was poorly received by players. I joined early in the re-booting of this product.

PROBLEM SPACE: How might we reimagine Star Wars Rise to Power so the objectives of the game are more clearly understood and is part of the Star Wars universe.
