What I've learned is that a north star is the most valuable thing a leader can provide when the ground is moving. I've been at the front of shifts like these, building through them rather than waiting for the path to become clear.
Finding Signal.
The most consequential design problems are rarely the loudest ones. I've built a career on finding the signal in complex environments, identifying what actually matters before it becomes critical, and building the organizational case to address it before the window closes.
Translating Data into Direction.
Data and research are only useful if they change what a team does next. I use behavioral data and user research to translate insight into design direction that product, engineering, and business stakeholders can act on.
